I first told you about Beauty for Real, the Miami-based makeup company, in a Favorite Finds post in April. What I love about their brand, aside from the fact that they’re based in my hometown, is that they’re committed to putting out products that are actually wearable in this heat and don’t feel cakey or goopy. Case in point: I wore their new Get Glowing! Cheek Tint & Luminizer and True Color Lip Cream in Infrared for Family Night and managed to not only keep it on, but not get any of it on myself or Lucy, which is truly an accomplishment.
TO GET THIS LOOK: This couldn’t have been simpler to achieve, and for that, I’m so grateful. I wanted a subtle look with a pop of color so I started with a base of CC cream (my new favorite thing), and then followed up with the Cheek Tint & Luminizer to highlight my cheeks using a small foundation brush. For that subtle flush, I used my fingers to apply the creamy peach tint that came with the Luminizer compact. I finished off with the Lip Cream, rubbed my lips together, and went about my business. For the record, it stayed on through our fast food family drive-thru adventure.
