A shopper’s vow: Because life is too short for Buyer’s Remorse. (And because I’m running out of closet space.) Here are ten bad shopping habits we should all seriously consider breaking.

Retail Therapy
To say that I’ve had a rough week is the kind of understatement that deserves its own clever comparative metaphor that I’m simply too exhausted to originate. So rather than bore you with details of what ails me, I’ll ask you to join me in the one thing that usually helps cure my blues – retail therapy. And this time, I’m really going for it…at least in my fantasy shopping cart. I may not be able to spend a dime right now, but a girl can dream. Indulge with me and enjoy.
Btw, if you’re in the position to shop, click on these and get yourself something nice – and then tell me all about it so I can live vicariously. Xx
A Nuptial Happy Hour
Today’s Happy Hour post was inspired by the wedding I’ve been hired to work on today. As you’re reading this, it’s likely that I’m cursing the shoes I’m currently running in, never being one for convention over pretty stuff. But who can resist when there are shoes like the satin-y dreams the guys at Badgley Mischka think up? I wore them on my own wedding day (in fact, I wore two different pairs), and still regularly swoon over them.
Here are some gorgeous things you don’t have to be a bride to wear. In fact, I could seriously justify wearing these around the house while doing laundry (Never met a purchase I couldn’t justify – I’m that good). So, enjoy – and don’t curse me when you’re breaking these puppies in. Beauty, pain. All that jazz. Cheers!

Holy Happy Hour
Whether you’re celebrating Passover or Good Friday, I’d like to wish everyone a blessed holiday weekend and inspire you in a little-explored fashion category I like to call “church chic”.
For today’s Happy Hour, know that you can still look good while getting your church on in these temple-appropriate items.

First Day of Spring 2012
Happy First Day of Spring, everyone. I hope you made some time to get outside and enjoy the sunshine. I celebrated by wearing bright accessories and painting on some vibrant shades courtesy of my long-time favorite, Essie.
I’m gearing up for the beginning of Miami Fashion Week tomorrow, so check back to see my coverage. You can follow me on Instagram at @apalma419, on Twitter at @wunderland419, and on Facebook (yep, I’m connected). And hit me up if you plan to attend. I’d love to see what you’re wearing and snap some shots of your street style!
Until then, have a great week and enjoy some of my favorites for the day.

Haute Heel Happy Hour
We are soaring to new heights for this Friday’s Happy Hour as I’m finding it hard to turn my attention away from the Cirque show the hubby and I will be catching later tonight. It’ll be MJ all the way this evening and I just want to put on my dancing shoes and jam out to P.Y.T. until my neighbors bang on the wall for mercy (they totally deserve it).
In honor of the sequined moon-walker, I give you the high heels I’m pretty sure Michael was singing about.
