Few things excite as much as the endless possibilities of customizing my own piece of jewelry. Oh, Anjolee… I’ll be on your site for days.

A Shopper’s Vow
A shopper’s vow: Because life is too short for Buyer’s Remorse. (And because I’m running out of closet space.) Here are ten bad shopping habits we should all seriously consider breaking.
My Favorite Items from Lucky FABB
Alright, so it’s been a few weeks since New York and Lucky FABB. And while part of the reason it’s taken me so long to get on here and post this update is that motherhood is damn tough when your husband, baby AND Pomeranian are all sick with different things at the same time (not even kidding – wish I was), it’s also partly because there was one very large carry-on sized tote full of beauty products that came home with me and has taken up permanent residence in a corner outside my closet because I am not entirely sure where to stash it all yet. (Maybe a giveaway…? Stay tuned!) In any case, I was finally able to dig through that sucker and pull out my absolute favorite items. Most of these are really affordable, but read through or click for sales and special discounts you can use to get your own. Hope you like these as much as I do. I’ve been using most of them almost daily since I made it back home.
Shop: Your New iPhone Case
I’ve got a lot of love for my iPhone. Not because I feel it’s the best smart phone technology available (though it does the job for me just fine). It’s really more of a connection thing. I’m rarely seen without my phone, whether I’m working on an event or home taking care of Lucy (how else am I going to get all those embarrassing pics to blackmail her with in her teen years?). With the new iPhone 5c and 5s now temping iPhone users everywhere with an imminent upgrade, I figured I’d give my phone case an upgrade as well. Check out my favorites and where to shop after the jump.
Outfit Post: Date Night
Date nights took on a very special meaning when Lucy was born. Personally, I had no idea what to expect in terms of managing our personal time with a baby in our lives. So the fact that we have amazing family members who will watch her while we go out and enjoy some time as Mr. and Mrs. is incredibly precious – and exactly what we need at the end of a long week of changing diapers. Last weekend, we grabbed a couple of drinks at DRB before catching the Bruno Mars concert (major husband brownie points). Seeing as to how I’m a wife and mom now, I went for a Betty Draper meets Wednesday Adams feel. No sense in losing one’s identity, after all…
Outfit Post: The Average Girl
This is my first outfit post. Considering that I’m a “fashion blogger,” it’s almost laughable that it’s taken me three years to put myself in front of the camera. Most girls jump into this right away, with zero hesitation or hang-ups. And to them, I say, “Well done!” But I’m not like those girls.
Favorite Finds: Love, Always
I first told you about Love, Always almost exactly one year ago when, thanks to my Instagram obsession, I began discovering a slew of adorable little boutiques. Since then, the online accessories shop based out of South Florida has gained momentum and been featured in publications such as Redbook and Who What Wear. And it’s no wonder – the girl behind the shop can curate some serious arm candy. I’ve been loyally stacking mine from Miss Stephanie’s finds, two of which are pictured above (a dainty pair of clover beaded bracelet with a new obsession, the tassel a.k.a. the Ritchey bracelet, named for her friend who creates my other wish list item). And, as if you needed another reason to shop, you can rest assured in knowing you’re doing some good; every month, a portion of their profits is donated to a different anti-bullying organization.
You can stack your own arm candy (and necklaces, and rings) at a discounted price. Use code BUBBLES20 to receive 20% off your purchase. Happy shopping!
Favorite Finds: K. Slademade
For most women, a shoe obsession trumps any other item in the accessories universe. But for me, it’s always been bags. Give me a clutch over heels any day. And if it’s handmade of buttery leather, all the more enticing. And this is what makes K. slademade so delectable. Kelsea’s pieces are the staples every girl should keep at hand. They are chic, understated little luxuries made for day-to-day functional glam. Oh, and they can be monogrammed (swoon). I’m seriously eyeing the tip pouch in pink pastel, the Brooklyn foldover clutch in black with the blue zipper (!!), and the Heather crossbody in red poppy.

Trends: The Ampersand Obsession
This recent ampersand logo trend has particularly caught my attention because it’s long been an obsession of mine as the quintessential symbol for my name (my initials before marriage were A.M.P.) combined with my love of writing and thus vintage typewriters. Does that make sense? Regardless, I’m a sucker for good typography design accents (I do love that Bubbles & Ink logo), so I’ve compiled a little cluster of cool pieces that I wouldn’t mind adding to my own collection. What do you think of this ampersand trend? I’m obsessed with that marquee lamp. Got any favorites?
SHOP THE POST: Clockwise from top left – Of Mice & Men Ampersand Typography Logo iPhone & iPod Cases, Ugmonk “And Then I Woke Up” Ampersand Tee, Everyday Art Vintage Ampersand Marquee Light, Alexandra Ferguson – Ampersand 16X16 Pillow, PB Teen Alphabet Ampersand Needlepoint Pillow, and Accessories Boutique “And Then” Bracelet in Gold.
Favorite Finds: Gigglosophy
Like most of the great little boutiques I’ve been frequenting lately, I discovered today’s Favorite Finds shop on Instagram. (I was actually the lucky winner of one of their contests!) Gigglosophy is an adorable little shop on Etsy with covet-able trinkets galore at incredibly reasonable prices for such great quality. I’m obsessed with their ampersand charm necklace and though I did win the gold pave bracelet in the pic above, I snagged the mint and white link bracelets for myself soon after.
For the next few days, you can pick up a few of your own pieces at a discounted price. Readers of Bubbles & Ink will get 20% off now through July 5th. Use code BUBBLES20 at checkout. Enjoy!
